The Garrity Tools Classroom Set is designed for people new to pottery using ribs for the first time (though experienced potters will love them too!) Each tool can assist with different steps of the throwing process including straightening a cylinder, removing excess clay near the bat, rounding the interior of a bowl, and creating a foot to make trimming a breeze.
We gave these ribs instructive names so that teachers will have an easy time asking students to grab a specific tool, and students can quickly understand how each rib is meant to be used. We hope this set becomes a standard at every wheel in classrooms and community studios!
